|Description:||Candidate will act as the primary operational focal point, directly influencing and supervising the daily, weekly and monthly operational priorities of the program(s). Responsible for the successful implementation and quality of services provided by the program(s) and provides coordination and oversight of program staff. In addition, this position provides general oversight of youth served by the program(s). The Program Director will develop and maintain stakeholder relationships. This person is also responsible for providing to the Foundation any required data and statistics required of the contract. |
|Duties:||•Provides oversight to program staff |
•Provides program staff and applicable Administrator with weekly schedule each Monday
•Participates in weekly Community Based Management Team conference calls
•Ensures contract outcomes are being met and implements corrective action if need is identified (review of REGIS reports)
•Shadows Case Manager(s), as needed
•Completes monthly reports within required timeframes
•Ensures peer file reviews are conducted for each program according to FW Quality Improvement Plan (#401)
•Ensures training files are kept up to date
•Completes 180 day and annual evaluations for program staff, as applicable and submits to the applicable Community Based Administrator for review and approval
•Completes at least twelve hours of supervisory on line training each January
•Assists with caseloads when vacancies arise
•Monitors program expenditures
•Ensures the efficient and appropriate flow of the program(s) operation
•Oversees treatment services, as applicable
•Ensures that program staff follow all established policies and procedures and keeps staff informed of all programmatic issues by conducting regular staff meetings
•Attends meetings, workshops, and training sessions as directed/needed and submits report of same to the applicable Community Based Administrator.
•Reports regularly to the applicable Community Based Administrator any general operational issues, personnel issues, unusual incidents, or program/office needs.
•Ensures contract compliance with all required services.
•Follows all Foundation Policies & Procedures including Protected Health Information (PHI) as required by Federal & state laws.
•Works closely with Department of Juvenile Justice and other stakeholders to build and maintain professional relationships and to ensure services needed by youth and families are coordinated.
•Attends and professionally represents the Foundation at meetings with DJJ and other community partners.
•Responsible for staff training and development
•Assists with coordinating and monitoring youth activities
•Develops and revises program(s) forms when applicable
•Ensures successful reviews by DJJ QA and Contract Monitors
•Participates in obtaining and maintaining CARF accreditation
•Assists with revision and development of training calendar and training plans
•Assists in developing, revising and reviewing program(s) policies and procedures
•Ensures incident reports are reviewed and submitted within required timeframes
|Qualifications:||BA/BS degree in any human services career field with at least two to four years of management experience. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. |
